A blank chart in a newly opened dialog is a useful debugging question: what exactly is not ready?
A Juejin explainer, displayed as published October 30, separates Vue’s update queue from broader page readiness. ThreadEast observed the listing on November 2 at 01:52 China Standard Time. That observation date does not make the API new, and rank is not adoption evidence.
Vue’s official API says nextTick waits for a DOM update flush. The article’s suggestion to add requestAnimationFrame needs a limit: MDN specifies a callback before repaint. It is not a receipt for a completed paint or transition.
For a dialog and chart, use three checks: does the element exist after the state update; is the container visible with usable dimensions; and does the chart library’s own readiness condition hold? A post-flush watcher can express reactive DOM ordering. A size observer can respond to changes, with care to avoid a resize loop.
Our English guide provides a decision table and suggested checks. We read the original and the Vue and MDN references; we did not run the author’s application, benchmark a chart or validate every version claim. This is independent context, not a full translation.
